Partytime on Lindley’s streets

LINDLEY will be transformed into a winter wonderland tonight for the village’s late night shopping extravaganza.

Snow, dancing penguins and Father Christmas are just some of the highlights of this year’s Christmas Charity Carnival, which takes place from 6pm to 8.30pm.

The community stages the event annually to raise thousands for charity and this year promises to be even bigger and better with more attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

For the first time this year, Lidget Street will be covered in snow and there will be a spectacular overhead fireworks display, which has been donated by Standard Fireworks.

Also new this year will be a roadshow from Pulse FM, complete with performances from local choirs, opera singers and glamorous dancing penguins.
