Third teacher suspended at All Saints

A THIRD member of staff from a Huddersfield school has been suspended, the Examiner can reveal.

A male teacher from All Saints Catholic College in Bradley was suspended in October and is still away from the school.

But Kirklees Council which has remained tight-lipped on the issue has said, although a complaint against him is being investigated, it is unrelated to issues surrounding joint headteachers Liam Harron and Mary Nixon.

The teacher’s suspension came two months after Mr Harron and Ms Nixon were suspended of their duties at the Bradley Road college because of concerns raised by two professional associations and one trade union.

Mr Harron and Ms Nixon made history in 2004 when they became the country’s first joint heads.
