'Fannymoor Five' fight ASBO threat
Dec 3 2008 by Sam Casey, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
TEENAGERS who are accused of terrorising their Huddersfield neighbourhood are battling a bid to give them ASBOs.
The four youths, who cannot be named because of their age, are alleged to have been behind a string of antisocial acts in Lowerhouses.
Among the alleged offences is the assault of a pregnant woman who suffered a miscarriage.
One of the youths is also accused of racial and sexual offences.
Kirklees Council is seeking Asbos against the four and the latest hearing was at Huddersfield Magistrates yesterday.
