Supermarket donates 150 toy trucks to Kirkwood

SAINSBURY’S Shorehead branch has donated 150 Coca Cola Santa toy trucks to Kirkwood Hospice in Dalton.

Kate Leadbeater, community fundraiser for the Hospice, said: “The trucks will be sold at the hospice and in its shops across Kirklees to get donations.”

The Dalton-based hospice provides specialist care for people facing life threatening illness. They also provide support to families, friends and carers dealing with illness and bereavement.
