Teenager on GBH charge for Golcar street attack

A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with a serious assault.
Kieran Clavin, 19, of Laburnum Grove, Golcar, was accused of grievous bodily harm when he appeared before Dewsbury Magistrates yesterday.
He is accused of attacking a 25-year-old Birchencliffe man outside the Co-op on Town End in Golcar at 1.30am on Sunday.
The injured man – who has not been named – was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and then transferred to a specialist unit at Leeds with serious head injuries.
He is in a critical but stable condition.
Clavin appeared before Dewsbury Magistrates.
