Car thief steals pensioner

A THIEF stole Sara Jackson’s car ... and her dad!
But he soon stopped in his tracks when 85-year-old victim Arthur Jackson criticised his driving.
He then promptly got out and fled.
Sara, of Fixby, said: “I came out and my car wasn't there. I thought my father couldn't have got out and driven it.
“Then I spotted the car some way down the road. I asked dad what he was doing there and when he explained I was speechless.
“I thought at first he was joking. I was a bit shocked really to say the least when it turned out that dad had been stolen.”
But she added: “He’s taken it in his stride and we can laugh about it now, but I can’t help thinking what might have happened.”
