Dec 13 2008 by Andrew Hirst, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
A CONVICTED gunman remains on the run after being found guilty of attempted murder.
Bradley Okoro, 22, of New Hey Road, Oakes, was convicted of trying to shoot dead Sheffield man Damian Munroe in Huddersfield on April 22, 2006.
But he was not at Bradford Crown Court to hear the verdict, having disappeared eight months previously.
Police have now revealed they are still after him and it is unclear if Okoro is in this country or abroad
A spokesman said: “Okoro is still missing and we are keeping an open mind as to where he is. We continue to appeal for anyone who knows where he is to contact is.”
Okoro shot Mr Munroe, 28, during an early hours incident on Cross Church Street in the town centre.
