At the event held at the Honley Scout Hut the group presented its longest serving member Louie Pickup with a certificate and badge.

Members were also treated to a pie and pea supper.

The group formed in 1983 in support of local people with leukaemia and has attracted many other people affected by the cancer.

Over the years they have raised the money through jumble sales, car boot sales, at galas and carnivals.
