PICTURE PERFECT

A STUDENT single mum with a knack for snaps has been recognised for her top camera work in difficult circumstances.

Sana Davis, of Rufford Road, Milnsbridge, was given a student success award by Kirklees College.

The 39-year-old mum of twins Joshua and Kyle, five, graduated with a degree in contemporary photographic art from Huddersfield University this year.

She studied the course at Kirklees College’s Dewsbury centre and also had her work recognised by the British Institute of Professional Photography.

Sana, who is originally from Hong Kong, said the student success award was recognition for her commitment to her studies in adverse circumstances.

She said: “I have been in Huddersfield for 10 years and used to work in a factory.

“My husband and I separated when the twins were three months.
