Huddersfield youth arrested after two-death crash

A HUDDERSFIELD teenager has been arrested after a double death crash.

The 17-year-old was detained after the tragedy in the centre of Lincoln.

The crash happened on the A15 Canwick Road at 10.30pm on Monday night.

A green Citroen Saxo crashed into the Carpets 4 Less building, killing a 16-year-old who was a passenger in the car.

The male driver, who is thought to be 17, also died.

It is understood the two victims come from the Lincoln area.

A black Volkswagen Golf, which was not involved in the smash, was travelling in the same direction as the Citroen at the time.
