Gifts for Paddock pupils
CHRISTMAS came early when Paddock Junior and Infant School broke up for the holiday.
Every pupil was presented with a selection box at the end of term.
They were also given a combined TV and DVD player, which they will use in their lessons.
The gifts came from Shazad Ahmed, who runs Paddock Premier Store.
He presented them to the school with police representatives Insp Mohammed Rauf and CSO Mohammed Tariq and councillors Mehboob Khan and Barbara Jones.
Mr Ahmed said the gifts were on behalf of himself and the new mosque being built on Church Street. It should be open soon.
