Batley betting shop robbed

A GANG of thugs escaped with cash from a betting shop.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the robbery at the bookmakers at Commercial Street, Batley, at around 8pm on Saturday.

Four men wearing dark clothing entered the premises and threatened staff.

No-one was injured during the incident, but the men got away with a quantity of cash.
