Two thieves grabbed him next to St Thomas’ Road, Longroyd Bridge, near its junction with Manchester Road, at 5pm on Monday.
The thieves forced him to the ground and demanded cash.

“If anyone saw what happened or has any information I would urge them to contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Kelvin Lecomber at Kirklees CID on 0845 6060606.
