Mystery clothes discovery

A BAG of clothes was found next to a rural road – and police are now trying to trace its owner.

The large white bag was wrapped in a mattress protector and contained men’s clothes on hangers, along with maps of the Lake District and a photo frame featuring a picture of a man and a girl.

The bag was found on Shepley Road in Stocksmoor yesterday morning.
