Human rights group in liquidation

A COLLAPSED human rights organisation has gone into liquidation.
And creditors of Kirklees Equality and Human Rights Agency (KEHRA) have been asked to come forward.
KEHRA, formerly Kirklees Racial Equality Council, folded in September after Kirklees Council withdrew its funding for the organisation.
Liquidators Begbies Traynor, of Halifax, will now investigate why the company collapsed and what remaining assets it has to distribute among its creditors.
Peter Sargent, of Begbies Traynor, said: “It’s early days at present. We have inquiries to make.”
Creditors have been asked to file their claims with Begbies Traynor, 36 Clare Road, Halifax, HX1 2HX by January 23.
