Aiming to inspire at libraries
Jan 14 2009 by Joanne Douglas, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
DALTON author Craig Bradley is hoping to inspire youngsters throughout the area.
The professional poet, writer and performer spends much of his time touring the country sharing his passion for poems.
He is now hoping some of his enthusiasm will rub off on his neighbours in Dalton and also people in Dewsbury.
People will have the chance to meet him when he stops off at the two Kirklees libraries.
He will be at Dewsbury Library on February 18 at 10.30am and at Rawthorpe and Dalton Library at 2.30pm.
As well as libraries, Craig Bradley also performs in schools, at museums and at literary festivals, along with reading his work on radio.
He was the first ever Reader in Residence in Calderdale and has previously worked as a stand-up comedian, roadie, heavy metal drummer, window cleaner and a Butlins cook.
Both events are free but require pre-booking.
Call Dewsbury Library on 01924 325 080 or Rawthorpe and Dalton Library on 01484 226 622.
