Council set to unveil North Kirklees schools plan

“I would personally like to thank everyone who took the time, and made the effort, to show an interest and express a view and put forward their comments.

“There has been a very large response to the consultation and I have been determined to ensure that all views have been taken account of.

“I believe that real consultation is about listening to the views of people and then trying to ensure that as many of those views are represented in

the resulting options, and then the final proposals, which will again be subject of consultation.”

The council plans to examine schools in the Huddersfield area at a later stage.
