Sharon Beshenivsky murder accused admits robbery

“Pc Beshenivsky suffered a bullet wound that killed her while Pc Milburn, was shot in the chest but survived the attempt on her life”.

Two men, Muzzaker Shah and Yusuf Jama, have both already been convicted of murder, robbery and firearms offences.

Mr Smith said: “The third man is the accused sitting in the dock.

“He is the brother of Yusuf Jama.

“He is charged with murder and firearms offences, having pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery.”

The court heard that four other men, besides Jama, his brother and Shah were involved in the robbery that led to Pc Beshenivsky's murder.

Faisal Razzaq and his brother, Hassan, who have already been convicted for possessing firearms, were waiting outside the travel agents with Piran Ditta Khan – who is still on the run – and Raza Ul-Haq Aslam, who was convicted of robbery.

The case continues.
