Two lanes closed on M62

POLICE closed two lanes of the M62 on Thursday morning after a three-car smash.

The accident was on the eastbound carriageway between junction 24 at Ainley Top, and 25 at Clifton, near Brighouse, at about 8.10am.

The lanes were closed until just before 9am, when the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder. A fuel spillage was cleaned up by the Highways Agency before the motorway was fully reopened.
