Dying father seeks his children

KEITH Longley’s dying wish is to find his three children.

The former Huddersfield engineer hasn’t seen his two daughters and son for 28 years.

But the 69-year-old has been told he is dying from a lung condition and may have only a few months left to live.

He now desperately wants to find his three children before time runs out.

Mr Longley, who was born and lived in Moldgreen until he was 26, said: “It would mean so much to me.

“I’d be the first to admit I’ve not been a good dad by any means, I wasn’t there for them, but I’d like the chance to make amends.

“I don’t know how long I’ve got, but the hospital say there is nothing more they can do for me.

“I’ve done everything I can to search for them. It could be it opens a can of worms for them and I don’t want to cause the upset, but you’ve got to try.”

His niece, Helen Stephenson, of Golcar, is helping him in his search.
