MON PM: Man killed in fire engine crash named

TWO men killed in separate road tragedies have been named.
Robert Senior suffered severe head injuries when he was one of three people knocked down by a fire engine at a crossing on Lockwood Road, Lockwood, on Saturday, January 10.
Police have also released the name of a young driver killed in a crash near the National Coal Mining Museum in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Mr Senior, 37, had special needs and lived in Lindley with his family.
The fire engine involved was responding to reports of people trapped in a house fire in Lockwood when the accident happened.
An inquest will open in Huddersfield.
The tragedy is being investigated by the police and the fire service is also conducting a full internal investigation.
Mr Senior was having respite care at North House, a residential home for adults with learning disabilities, on Swan Lane in Lockwood.
