TUES AM: Search teams hunt for missing Hepworth man

RESCUERS braved blizzards to search for a missing man.

Colin Fay, 61, is believed to have gone out in the Hepworth area  at around 1.40pm yesterday but never returned as heavy snow swept in.

He is not believed to have been wearing clothing suitable for cold weather

More than 30 searchers from the Holme Valley Mountain rescue and Wodohead Mountain rescue teams joined the hunt, along with four specialist search dogs.

But they had to abandon the hunt about midnight as conditions deteriorated.
