Get creative over a pint or two

IT’S not often you can get creative over a pint or two.

But Golcar artist Tom Senior and DJ Alan Kane will be encouraging it during an art night at a Huddersfield town centre bar.

On Friday evening the duo will take over Coffee Evolution – which does sell alcohol – and get arty alongside people who can paint on a canvas or create their own masterpiece.

For Tom and Alan the event at the Church Street bar is part of a series of public art exhibitions aimed at bringing art to the masses.

Tom, a former pupil of All Saints Catholic College, Bradley Bar, said: “I’ve been to a few similar events in the East End of London during the summer which were really well received.

“We’ve held two before and they attracted art students. But we want even more people to come along; people don’t have to be good at art to have a go.

“It’s a new experience for people and something very different for a Friday night out.”
