Hit by a scooter

A 65-YEAR-OLD man was knocked down by hit and run riders on a scooter.

The man was injured when he was hit by the scooter on Ashwood Close in Sheepridge at 10.50am on Monday – and police are now appealing for witnesses. He had a cut to his lower right leg and right wrist.

Both wore white helmets – one is aged around 14 and the other is thought to be about 20.
