Fitness group measures up

SLIMMERS always like to boast of how much they’ve lost.

But members of a Huddersfield club can proudly claim to have done better then most.

They can boast the inches they have shed tot up to three times the height of Victoria Tower at Castle Hill.

Members of the Feel Good Factory health and fitness centre in Honley have wasted no time in totting up their impressive tally, adding together the losses from nine different body measurements throughout 2008 to reach their total.

The female members lost an impressive 4613.5 inches in total.

The gym has around 180 members and the tally is said to be equivalent of “three times the height of Huddersfield’s famous landmark tower at Castle Hill – 384.5 feet tall.
