PARTY DEATH POLICE RENEW HELP APPEAL
POLICE have again appealed for help after releasing 12 suspects arrested in connection with the death of a man at a party.
Steven Cameron, known as Stevie, died on a night of violence at Tintern Avenue, Milnsbridge.
The men were arrested after the incident, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Seven were released on bail pending further inquiries yesterday morning.
The other five were kept in custody until yesterday night when they were also released on bail.
Meanwhile, tributes were paid to 22-year-old Stevie on the memorial website Gone Too Soon.
Daniel Langhorn, who created his tribute page, said: “What a lad Stevie boy was, guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone’s face with his wise cracks and pulling faces. Can’t believe you’re gone mate.”
Another tribute said: “Can’t believe you’re gone. God, it was only Saturday night we were beeping in the taxi at you lot in town and you turned around giving us a cheeky smile and a wave. Hope you’ve gone to a better place, I can imagine you and your bro chilling, looking down on everyone laughing. Take care, sleep tight.”
Another contributor added: “Can’t actually believe I’m writing this, it still hasn’t sunk in that I’ll never see your smiling face again! You will be truly missed but never forgotten.”
