Volunteers are honoured in town hall eremony

ELLAND Rotary Club members enjoyed their President’s Evening.

The club president, Clr Diane Park, welcomed more than 60 guests to Berties Banqueting Rooms at Elland.

The guests celebrated with a meal and entertainment.

Guests included officials of other Rotary Clubs in the area.

They included Malcolm Birkett (Todmorden), Terry Ward (Halifax Calder), John Richardson (Hebden Bridge), Godfrey Platt (Halifax), Tony Perryman (Brighouse) and Roger Bancroft (Sowerby Bridge).
