Appeal after alleged theft at service station; Pictures and story
Mar 20 2009 by Sam Casey, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
THE Examiner reported a burglary earlier this month that happened in Clayton West.
Now we have e-fits of two of the four suspects involved and we need your help to identify them.
The incident happened at about 3.45pm on Monday, March 2, when four men got into a 78-year-old man’s bungalow on Bilham Road through an unlocked door.
They started rifling through drawers in the two bedrooms, but fled when the man disturbed them.
The men were seen escaping in a car, possibly a new model BMW 5 series containing the letters YG, that was parked on Moorlands View before the burglary.
As well as the two men pictured, a description was given of a third suspect as in his 30s, about 5ft 10ins tall, of large build with a big belly and bald but wearing a black beanie hat, grey fleece jacket and jeans.
The last suspect was just described as a white male.
Anyone with information about the case should contact the officer in the case, Pc Emma Lisle at Huddersfield CID, via 0845 6060606, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
