Cruel beyond belief: pair ‘invade’ vulnerable man's Hillhouse home

A CALLOUS couple entered a vulnerable man’s flat and took over.

The cold-hearted pair even made their victim sleep on the floor, as they made themselves at home in his Huddersfield flat.

Now Shani Askew, 29, and her ‘parasitic’ boyfriend Calvin Williams, 38, have been given an Asbo at Dewsbury County Court, after a judge heard it was not the first time they had picked on victims.

The court heard how the pair, of no fixed abode, moved into the council flat on Whitestone Lane, Hillhouse, and took advantage of a man with severe learning difficulties.

They even made him sleep on the floor while they both slept in his bed.

The judge described Williams as a ‘parasite’ who has a history of taking over council-owned houses.

Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing obtained the injunction after hearing about the pair’s callous behaviour.

The court made a rare decision to grant the order indefinitely and anyone who sees either Williams or Askew breaching their Asbo is urged to notify police.
