Children to become art-tastic

CHILDREN in Mirfield are being offered the chance to attend a series of art workshops.

The sessions are open to children aged eight to 14 years old.

They will be taking place at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop.

The series is funded by grants from the National Lottery and Kirklees Arts.

The workshops will run during the school holidays and up to 15 children can attend each one.

They will usually take place on Monday and Friday mornings.

The workshops begin next Monday when children will be able to try creative book making, mono-printing and recycled sculpture.
