MON PM: £1.2m drugs found after Mirfield arrest - pictures
A MAN on a scooter was busted by police for carrying amphetamine - and led them to a massive drugs haul.
At 11pm last Thursday, plain clothes police stopped and searched a 42-year-old man from the Dewsbury area who was driving a scooter along Highgate Lane in Mirfield.
The police discovered amphetamine on him and the man was arrested.
A subsequent house search was conducted by police at an address on Headfield Road in Dewsbury during the early hours of Friday, April 17 where a large quantity of amphetamine, cannabis and suspected ecstasy was found.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested from outside the address
