Pensioner cut from Ainley Top crash car

A PENSIONER had to be freed from his car after colliding with a wagon.

Firefighters from Huddersfield and Brighouse cut the door from the man’s Vauxhall Astra after the incident at the junction of Warrenhouse Lane and Lindley Moor Road, Ainley Top, at about 1pm yesterday. A woman who was with him managed to get out of the car. He was treated for minor injuries. The wagon driver was unhurt.
