New billboard campaign to find missing Steven

A MISSING Golcar man is featuring in a new billboard campaign as his relatives bid to keep the search for him alive.
Steven Cooper vanished from his Scar Lane home on the day of his 47th birthday in January 2008.
His car was found a week later in a remote area of Scotland near Loch Laggan.
Part of the loch was scanned using Sonar and the area was scoured by a specialist RAF search and rescue helicopter and the highly experienced Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team, but no trace of him was ever found.
Now a fresh bid to find Steven has been launched as part of a UK wide missing persons billboard advertising campaign.
In Yorkshire, posters will be displayed at hundreds of locations including, dozens of pubs, gyms, shopping centres and motorway services.
Steven’s poster features his sister Trish Cooper from Holmfirth asking members of the public to donate £5 to help keep the search alive.
Trish said Missing People had recommended putting a female relative on the poster as it usually got a better response.
She said: “It’s just fantastic, it’s such huge coverage, which is what we need as we’re so desperate to find him.
