Shots fired through window of Birkby house

MASKED men fired shots through the window of a house in Birkby.

It is believed the pair threatened a group of people before firing a handgun at the property on Blacker Road.

The incident happened at about 6.45pm on Saturday.

No-one was injured and the men left the scene.

Officers from the Huddersfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased patrols in the area to provide reassurance to residents.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
