Special beds for disabled thanks to Holme Valley masons
Steven Hughes, Holly Bank Trust chief executive, said: “Promoting independence is complemented by these beds as it allows our young adults, where possible, to operate the handset and adjust their own position in bed.
“This control over their immediate surroundings is a great achievement and a confidence boost for our young adults, who rely almost entirely on carers for even the simplest of daily tasks.
“We are delighted to have had such generous support from the Masons and are proud to show them what a difference it will make to the lives of those living within the Trust.”
