Obituary: Derek Haughton

A WELL-LOVED actor of the stage has sadly passed away.

Derek Haughton, 72, became ill in the dressing room after a performance at Lepton Church last Sunday.

He was taken to hospital but died of an inoperable brain haemorrhage.

His partner Carole Ellis said: “He was such a lively person, very robust and always ready to share a joke.
