Armitage Bridge Monkey Club named CAMRA’s Club of the Year for third year running

ARMITAGE Bridge Monkey Club has been named the top real ale club in the country – for the third year running.

The club has received the Campaign For Real Ale’s Club of the Year 2009 award for the quality of its real ales.

The men behind the beer are Gareth Shaw and Peter Brewin.

It serves three real ales weekly and holds a summer beer festival, Monkeyfest.

Monkeyfest III will be held on July 4 and 5 this year, featuring bands, beers and food.
