CHRISTIAN BALE may be the face of Hollywood hero Batman.

But a talented Huddersfield stuntman is the real man behind the mask.

Former Newsome High School pupil Buster Reeves, 34, has forged a 12-year career in the movies, doubling for Brad Pitt in Troy and performing stunts in a host of famous films including The Bourne Ultimatum, War of the Worlds, Die Another Day and both the recent Batman films.

Now Buster is celebrating notching one of the biggest prizes in the stunt world after he took home the prestigious ‘best fight’ at the Taurus World Stunt Awards in Los Angeles, last week.

After losing out to stunts in Kill Bill and Casino Royale the previous two years, Buster finally won the award for a fight scene in Batman flick The Dark Knight.

In the scene Batman struggles to save a group of hostages that the Joker has disguised as his own men forcing him to attack a SWAT team and the Joker's henchmen in order to save the real hostages.

And things could be set to get even better.

Buster can next be seen doubling for Christian Bale as John Connor in the fourth Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation.

The film is due for release next week and is tipped to be one of the summer blockbusters.

Dad Terry said Buster had introduced a unique style of fighting to Hollywood taken from his wide range of martial arts skills.
