FRI AM: Police appeal for witnesses after moped rider suffers serious injuries in Batley

Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident which left a teenager badly hurt.

The 18-year-old moped rider suffered serious head and leg injuries when he was involved in a head-on collision with a Peugeot 306 in Brookroyd Lane, Batley, on Thursday evening. He is detained in Dewsbury District Hospital. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 286 Nigel Law on (01924) 206331.
