Cash boost for juniors

NEIL Lindsay has raised hundreds of pounds for his son’s rugby team.

The Dalton man ran the Leeds half-marathon in aid of Moldgreen Junior Rugby Club.

His son Josh plays for the Under 13 team.

Neil ran the 13-mile course last Sunday in 2hr 4min, raising more than £500 to help pay for coaching courses and kit for the club.

President Kim Saln said: “I think it’s absolutely brilliant that he’s done this. Neil was in training for a while and he’s lost a bit of weight.”
