Teen pair robbed in Linthwaite
TWO teenagers were robbed by a masked gang.
The three youths, wearing scarves over their faces, confronted the two 15 year-olds on the canal towpath near Bargate in Linthwaite.
They stole a maroon-coloured Nokia 5800 and a Samsung mobile phone in the incident, at 3.25pm on Wednesday.
Two of the robbers were white and about 5ft 10ins tall.
One had on a red scarf, black tracksuit bottoms and a black hooded top with a graffiti pattern.
The other was wearing all black and a white scarf. The third was mixed raced, about 6ft 1in tall and stocky.
All were aged about 16. Call police on 0845 6060606.
