Huddersfield Town star and World Cup winner in Colne Valley charity campaign

Other items include cricket bats signed by legendary umpire Dickie Bird and Andrew Flintoff; a snooker cue and case signed by Steve Davis; soccer memorabilia signed by Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard; a Graham Gooch framed, signed scorecard from his career-best score of 333 against India in 1990; a postcard signed by David Beckham with a special message to Colne Valley High and a signed Huddersfield Town Centenary shirt donated by ex-Colne Valley student Alex Smithies who now plays for Huddersfield Town and England U19s.
Alex said: “It’s a fantastic cause and is going to mean a lot to Josh. I’m backing the event, especially as it’s my old school.”
Celebrity donations include a signed photograph of film heartthrob Colin Firth and an Escada jacket and skirt worn by Cilla Black on Blind Date.

Bids can be submitted for any of the items before the auction, which takes place at the school on Sunday, June 28.
