A BUS ploughed through three gardens after a collision in Meltham this morning.

The First 324 service bus went through the gardens after a collision with the 933 K-Line bus at around 10am this morning.

On it's way through the gardens the bus hit a lampost, two trees, bins and knocked down fences before coming to rest on someone's lawn.

The driver of the K-Line, from Meltham, suffered minor injuries while a female passenger suffered whiplash and a minor wrist injury.

The First bus driver, from Deighton, suffered shock but was not though to be hurt.

Louise Ingham, 21, who lives on Helme Lane, said: "I just came home and found a bus in my garden. I just thought: ‘What the hell is going on?'"
