Masked robbers attack Brockholes pub couple in raid

“The masked men finally ran off with the keys from the pub and the couple’s car, and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen a vehicle around the Travellers’ Rest in the early hours of yesterday to come forward.

“We would also ask for any customers who have been in the pub recently to think back and remember if they have seen anything that may be of interest to us, or aroused suspicions.

“There is a chance one or all of these men may have called into the pub before the attack.”

All three men were thought to be white and had Manchester or Liverpool accents. They all wore balaclavas with slits for the eyes, dark clothing and gloves.
