Armed police raid house in Bradley in wanted man hunt

ARMED police staged a raid on a house looking for a wanted man.

The drama unfolded at a home on Sherwood Avenue in Bradley just after 5pm yesterday.

A dog team was involved as the house was searched.

Police sealed off the street and a large crowd of onlookers gathered.

The incident was scaled down at around 6.15pm.

A neighbour, who did not want to be named, was coming home from work as raid took place.

She said: “It was about 5.15 and all I could see was one police car.

“So I then went closer to have a look and soon it was swarming with police.

“There were police on the corner and one parked by the bus stop.
