Race attack on shopper

A FATHER was subjected to a vicious racial attack after bumping into someone outside a shop.

The 43-year-old went to a supermarket at North Road in Ravensthorpe with his 15-year-old daughter at about 4.40pm on Tuesday.

After getting out of his car, he bumped into a youth on a bicycle but said sorry and went into the store.

On leaving, he was surrounded by 10 to 15 Asian youths who attacked him and shouted racial abuse.

The victim managed to make it back to his car and the gang fled.
