“The Policing Pledge states we will spend at least 80% of our time visibly working in your neighbourhood. This move is really a commitment to that pledge and underlines our dedication to being there when you need us the most”.

PCSO Buckley believes it will be an asset locally.

“I think the use of the police box will increase the levels of reassurance for residents in knowing that their local Neighbourhood Policing Team officer is embedded within their community and is there ready to help.

“When you spend so much of your time within a community you get to know the people around you. Hopefully, my presence at the box will encourage others to speak to me and feel confident in reporting any issues they may have.”
