Three die from 'poison heroin' in West Yorkshire

Within 24 hours a 46-year-old man’s body was found in Girlington.

On Saturday, police were also made aware of a 42-year-old man who was in a serious condition in hospital.

Anyone looking to use heroin is warned that what they take could be contaminated.

Last year a judge claimed that Bradford was a city ‘riddled with drugs’.

Judge Alastair McCallum said many communities were being blighted by drugs, particularly heroin.

He urged communities to stand up to those peddling ‘poison’ in their midst.

Anyone with information about the suspected contaminated batch or drugs dealers is asked to contact police on 0845 60 60 606 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
