Lockwood couple rescue two kittens dumped in Marsden skip - picture

Cats

THESE cute kittens had a lucky escape after being left to die in a skip.

But fortunately for the fluffy five-week-olds, cat-loving couple Alan and Tracey Greenhalgh came to their rescue.

The two kittens had been dumped in a skip at Marsden, when Mr Greenhalgh’s colleague from Colne Valley Skip Hire came along to empty it last Thursday.

As he tipped the skip onto his truck, he spotted the kittens.

He picked them up and took them to Mr Greenhalgh, who he knew had six pet cats of his own.

Mr and Mrs Greenhalgh took the kittens back to their Lockwood home.

Mrs Greenhalgh said: “They were lucky to survive at all, as they can’t feed themselves and they had a big fall from the skip.
