New chairman for West Yorkshire’s fire and rescue authority

Colne Valley councillor David Ridgway, has been elected the new leader of West Yorkshire’s fire and rescue authority.

Clr Ridgway was elected as chairman of the politically-hung body with the support of his Liberal Democrat colleagues and the Conservatives.
